Proud to Vote for LaMarche, Not More of the Same

Excerpt from the article:

I am disgusted with cowardly voters. Often I reach consensus with Democrats and Republicans that our present two-party system is flawed. We agree that rather than initiate innovation and progress, the present system guarantees "more of the same." I have witnessed these same staunch party members become excited by ideas generated from third-party candidates.

At the polls, these excited voters abandon their ideals and vote along party lines out of fear that "the other guy" will win. What a shame. Real change cannot follow a vote cast for fear. Our elected officials should represent our hearts and our hopes.

Yet at the polls, these excited voters abandon their ideals and vote along party lines out of fear that "the other guy" will win. What a shame. Real change cannot follow a vote cast for fear. Our elected officials should represent our hearts and our hopes.

If there is no candidate that you can trust, skip that particular race or write in the name of someone who will do justice to your conscience and vision of the future. The lesser of two evils still bears evil. Be courageous.

I will proudly cast my vote for Pat LaMarche for governor on Nov. 7.
