LaMarche to Give "Real" State of the State Address

Augusta, Maine — On Saturday, May 20 at 11:00am, Gubernatorial Candidate, Pat LaMarche will be the keynote speaker at the Green Party Convention, where she will give her "State of the State" speech. The event will be held at the Center for Cultural Affairs at 1 Longfellow Square in Portland.

Admission is free and the event is open to the public, but Pat has asked that Conference attendees use this as an opportunity to give back to the Maine community in a substantive way.

With so many infants housed in homeless shelters with their parents right now, there is a shortage of essential items such as diapers. Therefore, conference attendees are asked to please bring diapers, blankets, toys, and other appropriate items for infants, which the LaMarche campaign will distribute to shelters after the convention.
